Low-Cost Grocery Shopping

If you want to see the full shopping list on Walmart in your area, all you have to do is click my Walmart Grocery list and change the zip code to your area. *This is an affiliate link, and I do make a small commission on any purchases, but at no additional cost to you!*
**** Please note, that every once in a while, an item that I pick turns out to be regional. This means that it may be a much higher price in some areas. Always double check the list and if you see an item that is much higher than normal, just adjust as needed.
Easy Family Meals
Egg Roll Lo Mein (Sweet & Sour Style)
This quick noodle dish uses spaghetti and a simple sweet and sour sauce to keep things budget-friendly without sacrificing flavor. If you prefer, you can swap in coleslaw mix for the broccoli slaw or use ground turkey instead of pork.

Chicken Taco Bowls with Salsa Rice
A super flexible meal that comes together fast using pantry staples like rice, salsa, and taco seasoning. You can easily swap the chicken for ground meat or even skip it and add extra corn and veggies for a lighter option.

Brunswick-Style Lentil Stew
This budget-friendly version uses lentils for a hearty base while keeping that classic sweet and smoky flavor. You can keep it meatless or stir in leftover shredded chicken, ground meat, or pulled pork if you have it on hand.

Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Pasta
A creamy, comforting dinner that brings all the flavors of a classic sandwich into an easy skillet meal. You can swap the chicken for ground meat or use any pasta shape you have in the pantry.

Mongolian Style Rice Bowl
This sweet and savory dish stretches ground pork with lentils while still delivering bold flavor. Frozen green beans keep it simple, but you can swap in broccoli or any frozen veggie you already have.

Chicken Ranch Wraps
A quick and easy dinner that’s perfect for busy nights and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. You can serve these with chips or skip them and add extra veggies inside the wrap to stretch the meal further.
