HEB Plus came out cheaper with a total of $113.08. This was 3.25% lower than Randall’s total of $116.88.

Food for Thought

Although both stores were pretty close in overall total, they were still higher than my $100 grocery budget.

Let’s see if shopping at both stores will lower out total. This time we are only going to buy the items at each store that are the cheapest.

By going to both stores, our total would have been $95.26!!! That was actually cheaper than our Walmart total!

This was an additional savings of $17.82 (or about 16%). I would say it is definitely worth the time to go to both stores or at least do a pick-up order.
