6 Easy Summer Dinners for Under $60 at Walmart (Week #100)
Summer sure is heating up quick around here, which means it is officially time to avoid turning on the oven whenever possible! Between kids being home for summer break, busy evenings, and those extra hot afternoons, easy dinners are the name of the game right now. This week’s menu is full of simple skillet meals, air fryer favorites, wraps, and cold pasta salad dinners that help keep the kitchen a little cooler without sacrificing flavor.
We were able to put together all 6 dinners for a total of $53.38 for 31 items at the Super Walmart in Ward, Arkansas. A lot of the ingredients this week are pantry and fridge staples, which means your total could easily end up even lower depending on what you already have at home.

Dinners for Hot Summer Days
Italian Grinder Wraps with Tater Tots
These wraps come together quickly using rotisserie chicken and simple deli ingredients, making them perfect for busy summer evenings. Your family can skip the pepperoni by using deli ham or salami instead, and the tater tots are great dipped into extra Italian dressing or ranch.

One Pot Turkey Stroganoff
This creamy one pot dinner is filling without needing a bunch of extra ingredients or side dishes. If you want to stretch the meal a little further, garlic bread and leftover vegetables both work great on the side.

Bacon Alfredo French Bread Pizzas
These French bread pizzas cook quickly in the air fryer and help avoid heating up the kitchen on hot evenings. Banana peppers or spinach would work well here if your family likes a little extra flavor on pizza.

Southwest Chicken Pasta Salad
This cold pasta salad is great for hot summer nights when nobody wants a heavy dinner. You can add crushed tortilla chips sprinkled on top for an added crunch, and the leftovers work great for lunch the next day.

Cheesy Sausage & Rice Skillet
This skillet meal is creamy, filling, and comes together easily in one pan. Pepper jack cheese or Cajun seasoning work well here if your family likes a little extra heat.

Cheeseburger Tot Bowls
These bowls have all the flavors of a cheeseburger and fries without needing to buy buns for one meal. Burger sauce, ranch, or even barbecue sauce all work great drizzled over the top.
