Savory Peanut Butter Recipes to Try!
November is Peanut Butter Lover’s month, so I felt called to make a collection of peanut butter recipes that were savory! We use peanut butter all the time for snacks and desserts, but I rarely see anyone use for dinner.
Peanut Butter is used a lot in Thai style dishes and also in vegetarian dishes. I have included both in my list, but just keep in mind you can always add meat to the vegetarian options if you like!
What to make for Dinner with Peanut Butter?
Here is a fun list of recipes to try using peanut butter.
1. Asian Style Peanut Cabbage Slaw
This is a great side dish, but it is also really good to make wraps with using cooked chicken!
2. Peanut Butter Chicken Wings
I tried these at a potluck, and I was so impressed with the flavor. They can get a little spicy so try out a mild chili sauce if you don’t want the heat!
3. Peanut Butter Chili
You may have heard of people eating peanut butter sandwiches with chili, so this totally jives with that! You can add any of your favorite ground meat to this dish as well if you don’t want to do the vegetarian option!
4. Peanut Butter Snap Peas
This side dish is fantastic, and it also can be used on other veggies like carrots or broccoli too!
5. Peanut Butter Stir Fry & Noodles
This is a really fun way to try some new flavors! We also like to add cabbage to this as well.
6. Slow Cooker Thai Pork
I am a huge fan of rice bowls, so I really like this with veggies over rice. You can also serve it over pasta or as a Thai BBQ style sandwich!
7. Southwest Peanut Dip
This is a fun dip we used to serve at cocktail parties! It is so good with vegetables, tortilla chips, or with different meats and meatballs!
8. Thai Style Peanut Marinade
I love this marinade on chicken or pork. We have done this with leg quarters, and it was so good on the grill!

Creative Ways to use Peanut Butter for Dinner
I hope we can inspire a new way to use peanut butter for your next meal plan. Sometimes we put ingredients in a certain box and it’s hard to think of it in any other way, so now is the time to try something new!
Peanut Butter is relatively cheap and lasts a long time, so it’s a great pantry staple. It is also a fun way to add flavor, so don’t be afraid to use it in creative and savory ways.
