Family-Friendly & Affordable Dinner Ideas (6 for $60 at Walmart)- Week #35
Depending on the time of day lately, it is really starting to feel a little cooler and a little more fall. Since we aren’t having any crazy heat days right now, we are starting to use our oven a little more!
Even though we use the oven this week, most of these meals easily qualify for low effort but super tasty. Quite a few parts can be prepped in advanced and honestly, not a lot of chopping this week either!
This week we are shopping at the local Super Walmart Center in the Berlin, Maryland. Our budget was $60, and we came in super close with a total of $59.02!

Grocery List
If you want to save time, you can check out my Walmart Grocery List for this week’s meal plan! *This is an affiliate link and I do make a small commission on any purchases, but at no additional cost to you!*
Don’t forget to check your pantry, fridge, and freezer for items on the list so you can get your total lower than mine!
Budget-Conscious Dinners
My kids are not huge fans of artichokes, but you can easily add some canned ones to the spinach mixture if you love them!
You can easily switch the Cream of Mushroom out to be Cream of Celery or Cream of Potato if you are not a fan of mushrooms!
This is really a great copycat recipe for the Knorr Chicken Pasta!
I know warm cheese and pineapple sounds odd but it’s a Southern staple!
You can easily switch out the ground turkey for ground chicken, ground beef, ground pork, or even leftover cooked chicken!
There are a lot of great marinade flavors available for these pork loins! We love the bacon one, steakhouse mushroom, and garlic & herb.
Each of these meals could easily serve 4-6 people depending on appetite. So, if you are a family of four, you could have plenty of leftovers the next day for lunches.
