10 Frozen Fruit Smoothies that Taste Like Dessert!
I know a lot of people make and drink smoothies for breakfast, but at our house smoothies are actually more of a dessert. Especially in the summertime when you want a nice cold dessert to end the hot day!
Over the past few summers we have worked and experimented with all kinds of different Dessert Smoothies. Now I perfer my dessert to at least have some fruit in them so it;s not totally over the top, but frozen fruit can be a little expensive.
I also realized that fruit is one of those items that people tend to throw out because it went bad before they could use it. Well stop that and start freezing that fruit at home. Thankfully it is super easy to just wash the fruit, slice it if needed like a banana, then lay it out on a parchment paper covered sheet pan. Pop the pan in the freezer for a few hours and then move your frozen fruit to a bag!
Seriously it is so simple and can turn that potential food waste into a yummy smoothie later on!
