Breakfast Burrito Ideas to Try!

I love quick and simple breakfast, but I also love a good filling breakfast. Normally I make breakfast burritos with eggs but since they have been at a premium price lately, I wanted to explore some options that don’t rely on eggs.

Here are some fun breakfast ideas to try at home that don’t need any eggs or at least a ton of them!

Simple Breakfast Burritos

1. Apple Cinnamon Burrito

You could even switch this up and use peaches or pears too!

2. Breakfast Hash Burrito

You could even use fresh potatoes at home instead of the frozen kind.

3. Berry & Cream Cheese Burrito

These are great using any fresh berries you like. Frozen berries can get a little juicy, so I would mix defrosted berries with the cream cheese first, to keep the juice from leaking out!

4. Loaded Veggie & Rice

This can also be a great way to use up leftover rice!

5. Peanut Butter & Banana Burrito

My kids really love these with the mini chocolate chips added!

6. Potato & Chorizo Burrito

You can easily swap out the chorizo for breakfast sausage. I have even made these with leftover taco meat, and they were delicious!

7. Refried Bean & Veggie Burrito

This is another great one to use up leftover items from a Mexican dinner night!

8. Sweet Potato & Black Bean Burrito

I do like to rinse and drain my black beans before using them!

Boring Breakfast Burrito?

Sometimes breakfast burritos can get a little boring. An easy way to switch them up is to look at all the different wrap options that are available. They even have a bunch that are carb friendly, gluten free, and more.

Yes, a lot of them are made by Mission, but check for store brand as well. My local stores have lots of generic version in fun flavors too!
