Wraps and Pita on a Budget! (Free PDF)

Wraps and pitas are a great low effort and low heat way to make a tasty dinner in the summertime. They are also a good way to use up odds and ends of leftovers as well.

This week I have picked 8 tasty ways to make wraps and pitas at home on a low budget. I also included lots of different options for the wraps and pitas.

1. Chipotle Black Beans and Avocado Wrap

This is a nice balance of sweet with the tortillas, heat from the sauce, and creamy of the avocado!

2. Sweet Chili Chicken Wrap

You can easily use any leftover cooked chicken instead of canned chicken. You can also mic up the veggies to use up what you have!

3. Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Lots of ways to customize this one! You can add some blue cheese crumbles, serve with celery on the side, and so much more!

4. Teriyaki Chicken Wrap

I love these Naan wraps and I love the circle ones too. I would drain the pineapple first, then save that juice for another dish! (less messy and juicy that way)

5. Mediterranean Veggie Pita

I picked a classic hummus for this dish but you can up the flavor a notch by doing a garlic one or a pesto one! Really any flavor would be great!

6. Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap

This is one of my favorites!

7. Pesto Turkey Wrap

This is another one where you can pretty much substitute any meat that you like. You can use leftover chicken, a variety of lunchmeats, or even hummus if you want a vegetarian option!

8. Greek Chicken Pita

For this one I would grate or finely chop some cucumber and dill, then mix it with the Greek yogurt to make a sauce. You can also keep it separate too!

Variations & Substitutes

Every family has different tastes, so you can easily switch out ingredients to suit your family. Also don’t feel locked into the ingredients, it really doesn’t matter if you use what kind of tortilla or wrap that you use, right? Just substitute with what you already have and freeze them if needed!

I hope you enjoy these low-cost wraps and pita ideas!
