Family Dinner Plan: 3 Quick Ham Meals You’ll Love (MM#25)

Ham freezes beautifully, making it one of the easiest proteins to stretch across multiple meals. Whether you have leftovers from a holiday dinner, spot a great sale, or grab one of those pre-sliced cooked hams from the store, it’s a smart way to save time and money.

This week’s mini menu features three family-friendly dinners made with ham, and they’re all quick, comforting, and budget-conscious. Our total came to just $27.02 at Walmart, and you may already have a few of the ingredients at home, so your cost could be even lower!

Grocery List Needed for the Mini Menu

If you want to see the full shopping list on Walmart in your area, all you have to do is click my Walmart Grocery list and change the zip code to your area. *This is an affiliate link, and I do make a small commission on any purchases, but at no additional cost to you!*

**** Please note, that every once in a while, an item that I pick turns out to be regional. This means that it may be a much higher price in some areas. Always double-check the list and if you see an item that is much higher than normal, just adjust as needed.

Ham & Hash Brown Casserole

This creamy, cheesy casserole is pure comfort food and comes together fast with pantry staples. You can swap the cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom or use frozen shredded hash browns if that’s what you have on hand.

Hawaiian Ham Fried Rice

A fun mix of sweet and savory flavors that turns leftover rice into a full meal. Try it with canned mixed vegetables, diced peppers, or even a splash of teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce for a different twist.

One-Pot Ham & Broccoli Cheddar Pasta

This easy stovetop dinner cooks everything in one pot for minimal cleanup. Switch the Cheddar Sauce for Alfredo or a homemade cheese sauce, and use whatever short pasta or frozen veggies your family likes best.
